Kriya yoga is completely different to anything I have ever experienced and is certainly not your typical idea of yoga! Samantha's introduction and explanation was really good and I felt prepared and informed to dive into the session. I found it really powerful for moving energy in ways I haven't experienced before and felt really well guided and supported by Samantha throughout the whole process. She is a truly gifted teacher and guide. I am excited to do the next session!

I had the most beautiful and deeply relaxing sound healing session.
From the gentle resonance of the singing bowls to the soothing sounds of the rain stick, every element created a calming and immersive experience.
The Hapi drum and seed chimes added wonderful layers of sound, while the shamanic drum brought a grounding energy that could be felt throughout the session.
What made the experience especially memorable was the beautiful song sung by Samantha. Her voice was heartfelt, calming, and the perfect complement to the healing sounds, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
I left feeling peaceful and deeply connected to myself. It was clear how much care, intention, and love went into every part of the session.

I know this may seem biased towards my love but I can honestly hand on my heart say no-one holds space quite like Samantha.
Her extensive background in psychotherapy, somatic work and shamanism make her approach truly unique and encompassing, which of course allows you to feel safe and relaxed for her gifts to truly take hold.
But her voice is an extra special gift on top of her ability to compassionately hold space as it, alongside the instruments she uses, transports you to a whole other dimension of peace, clarity and bliss.
I know how hard she has worked on herself, especially owning her own voice, and how committed she is to help other women do the same. It is a gift and inspiration to receive her medicine and urge you to see and receive for yourself.

Women who have done the inner work and are ready to move it through the body.
Women whose hips, throat, jaw or diaphragm have been holding emotion they never got to express.
Women who have tried Western yoga and found it shallow.
Women who have tried aggressive breathwork and found it overwhelming.
Women ready to release what their body has been carrying for decades.
Men are welcome here too.
The work serves anyone willing to meet themselves.
You don't need a reason.
You don't need to be in crisis.
The emotion you have been carrying is reason enough.
Do I need a yoga background?
No. You do not need flexibility. You do not need a particular body type. You do not need any prior experience with spiritual practice. All you need is a mat or comfortable surface, enough space to extend your arms and legs, and a willingness to follow the guidance.
What do I need?
A mat or comfortable surface. Enough room to move. Comfortable clothing. Water. Somewhere quiet you won't be disturbed for 90 minutes.
Do I need headphones?
No. There is too much movement in this session for headphones to stay on. You will be standing, lying down, moving through cat-cow, tapping, possibly shaking or jumping. Headphones will either come off or break. If you live with other people, here is what we recommend instead. Set your room up. Tell your flatmates, your partner, your kids, that for the next 90 minutes you are not to be disturbed. Setting that boundary is part of the practice. Especially in Kriya. You start owning your voice the moment you tell other people you are choosing yourself for the next 90 minutes. If you really want deeper acoustics, AirPods are your call. We don't recommend Bluetooth running through your brain mid practice, and our ethos is to reduce stimulation, not add to it. But you know your body.
What if I can't make a sound? I am self conscious about my voice.
That is exactly why the voice work is in this practice.
Most of us were taught from a very young age to keep the noise down. To be quiet. To hold it in. To manage how we expressed ourselves so we remained acceptable. All of that suppressed expression is stored in the body. In the throat. In the chest. In the diaphragm. You do not need a beautiful voice. You do not need to know what sounds want to come out. You need to be willing to open your mouth and let the body speak.
If you are in a shared house, tell whoever you live with what you're doing and when. Most people are supportive when given a heads up. Keep a pillow nearby. If something wants to come out loudly, you have somewhere for it to land.
What if I have an injury or recent surgery?
Email Samantha at [email protected] before booking.
Nothing in this session requires you to push your body beyond its current capacity.
We are not here to override the body. We are here to listen to it. Modifications are always available.
How may I feel after?
Lighter. Clearer. More yourself than you have felt in a long time. For some, the hours and days after can feel raw. Emotional. Tender. A bit tired. That is your system integrating what just moved. Drink water. Eat real food. Get outside. Sleep. The integration is the real work. If you want someone to talk to in the days after, email Samantha. We don't leave anyone alone on the other side of a session.
Can I do this if I am pregnant?
Email before booking. Some of the practices need to be modified during pregnancy. Most can.
Avoid heavy meals?
Yes. Two to three hours before. The body processes more freely when it is not focused on digestion.
